Crafted with Conscience.
More than decor.
At Ecothesí, we create pieces that pause the room. Designed by local artisans and built with intention, each piece stands apart—uncommon in form, grounded in ethics, and rich in story. Our materials are responsibly sourced and chosen for their strength and environmental intelligence: wood, jute, hemp, organic cotton among the list. Made in the U.S. by a Black and woman-owned studio, each piece carries a lineage of care from fair-wage labor to low-impact processes to lasting form. This is design that carries weight not because it demands attention, but because it earns it. When someone asks where you got your decor, you’ll have more than just an answer—you’ll have a story worth sharing.
New Arrival
The Eden Organizer is handcrafted from reclaimed wood and etched with hand-painted botanical motifs. With three divided chambers each telling its own story of foliage and form, it’s perfect for curating small essentials or adding an earthy touch to your space.
The Artisans
Wood and Textile Artists Crafting Excellence
Our decor team is composed of master artisans with expertise in a variety of wood textile crafts, including carving, joinery, cabinet making, weaving, embroidery, crochet, knitting, and more. Each member brings years of experience and a deep understanding of their craft, allowing them to create furnishings that are both meticulously detailed and beautifully executed. Their commitment to craftsmanship shines through in every piece, blending traditional techniques with innovative designs to produce timeless, high-quality, and sustainably made products. This team’s dedication to artistry and precision ensures that every item they create not only meets but exceeds expectations for durability and aesthetic appeal.

Eco-Conscious Process
We meticulously source our materials from eco-friendly suppliers who share our commitment to minimizing environmental impact. We use local, natural, organic, and biodegradable materials—including organic cotton, jute, hemp, wool, linen, and silk. Dyes used are non-toxic and our packaging is entirely plastic-free.
-
Handcrafted Excellence
Every item in our collection is made by hand, leveraging time-honored techniques—such as crochet, knitting, and weaving—that eschew machines for the personal touch of skilled artisans. Through this, we’re able to offer exclusive, limited product lines that ensure each piece is as ethical and sustainable as it is high-quality and aesthetic.
-
Storied Craftsmanship
Each piece comes with a “Know Your Decor Lore” card, offering a deep dive into its origin, the materials and techniques used, and the artisan behind it. This card not only tells the story of the item but also includes care instructions to ensure its durability and maintain it as a cherished part of your home for years to come.
Paced Production Model
We believe that quality and sustainability go hand in hand. Our approach prioritizes a paced production and slow sales model, guaranteeing that each product is thoughtfully created and limited in quantity to manage waste, avoid overproduction, and ensure durability and longevity.
-
We introduce very limited product lines four times a year. This approach allows us to carefully analyze our finances and gauge public interest to determine the optimal number of pieces to produce. By doing so, we ensure that each product is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail.
-
Once we’ve determined the production quantity, our skilled artisans create each piece by hand, adhering to our high standards of craftsmanship. After production, each item is meticulously packaged, and our stock is updated accordingly. We then offer these exclusive products for sale until they are sold out.
-
This model is designed to respect the time-intensive nature of handcrafting—minimizing the risk of overwork and burnout and helping ensure each piece is created with intention, not haste.
The Renaissance Program
We’re dedicated to sustainability beyond the initial sale. Through our Renaissance Program, we accept back any product we’ve ever made, in plastic-free return packaging, for upcycling, donating, composting, or recycling based on condition. Our Ecothesí Renaissance Program is designed to give our products a second life and reduce waste.
-
If the item is in good condition, it will be resold at a lower price. It will be labeled as used, with details about its level of usage and original sale date.
-
We may unravel or disassemble returned products to repurpose its materials and parts to create new products, extending its lifespan.
-
Items that are functional but not suitable for resale or repurposing will be donated to appropriate organizations.
-
Items that are unsuitable for public use are to be composted (for 100% organic products) or recycled to prevent landfill waste, if appropriate.
-
Free Return Shipping: Enjoy free return shipping when you use plastic-free packaging.
Discount & Acknowledgment: Receive a 10% discount on your next purchase and an e-letter thanking you for your contribution. This letter will detail how your product was reused, upcycled, donated, composted, or recycled.
